Red Star weekly Dubstep flyer

Red Star in Camberwell

Unlikely & Kion performed at the first of a weekly Dubstep shindig every Thursday at the Redstar in Camberwell (next to Camberwell Green) recently.

Make sure you try and make it down, as this promises to become the Thursday night of your weekly calender!

Unlikely & Kion are gonna be down there for the 31st, along with Darkside (Rinse FM) and residents. Not sure of the full line-up, but the venue is great, with a very relaxed attitude and good vibes.

Recorded Clandestine Sub FM sets

You can now download recorded sets from our shows here

Two shows have been uploaded so far, with more being added week on week.

Rebel Beats at the Ocean Rooms

Unlikely & Kion (me!) with MC Skilf - supported DJ Vadim (Ninja Tune) on Friday at the Ocean Rooms in Brighton. Excellent night, and props out to Sarah (Red Hot Promotions) for the link up.

I haven't been to the Ocean Rooms for quite a long time, and must say I'm impressed with how it is now. Sound system restrictions seem to have been resolved by the management, which was one of my gripes when last there as a punter (there was no bass - but now there's plenty!)

Here's some pics from Friday's Rebel Beats -

Red Star, Camberwell

First of a weekly Dubstep shindig was last Thursday at Camberwell's Red Star. This promises to become a very busy and messy affair! Very friendly and relaxed security, friendly vibes and a good central venue right by Camberwell Green.

The first night had BokBok, Deapoh (Barefiles), Unlikely & Kion, Blackmass Plastics, and a couple of other heavy DJ's who's names unfortunately escape me (sorry!) - although I hasten to add that the drum n bass dj + mc combo at the end were amazing - playing a lot of their own tunes which were top notch and bass heavy in a Digital style - how drum n bass should be. Big up!
